Summary
It couldn’t be it. Riddle couldn’t have started to consider the eel as a friend - let alone something more ! Floyd was always tormenting him, always bothering him, always inquiring the redhead to play, going as far as stealing Riddle’s copies and tomes just for the boy to run after the eel. Floyd was always, in some way or another, in Riddle’s steps, acting somewhat like a shadow. Wherever Riddle was found, Floyd was usually not far from him, always a ‘Goldfishie’ away from being nearly collared for no other reason than Riddle being enraged.
In his quest to become the perfect person for his mother, Riddle discovers a small distraction and ends up accepting it albeit reluctantly.
