Summary
After the events on the ramparts Bilbo is heartbroken and in the belief that Thorin doesn’t love him the way Bilbo loves Thorin. So he fleas back home believing to never see any of them or the mountain ever again.After Thorin wakes from his injuries he desperately asks for his Hobbit but is told he left. Thorin, shattered, believes that Bilbo can never love him the way Thorin loves Bilbo. Thorin retakes the throne of Erebor and mourns the day he stepped so wrongly as to send His life's light away.But is there a way for them to heal their shattered past, to find the light of health together?
