Summary

After a moment, he carefully puts one hand up to his face and wipes at his brow, which feels uncomfortably warm. “I do not feel very well,” He declares, and sways.Immediately Jayce moves forward, his blood running cold, and puts an arm on Viktor’s to stabilize him. “Viktor? What’s going on?”Viktor’s already shaking his head, and he mumbles something incoherent under his breath, pulling away from Jayce and dazedly trying to step back. “I might…I might sit down.” He says it so weakly, so matter-of-fact, that Jayce doesn’t realize the implications until Viktor stumbles, his fingers momentarily tightening on Jayce’s forearm.———So I have never seen or played Arcane, actually. I wrote this as a gift for a friend, after she gave me a raging review of season 2 and I was like “hold up, this guy Vik has a terminal illness and we’re just supposed to be chill with that? Cause that guy Jake or whatever his name was is way too chill about it” and then I watched a bunch of videos and realized that Jake was not at all chill about it, and was totally gay for the steampunk science twink.
