9 years after his fiance abandoned him and their baby with only a note left in her absence, Jackie and Sam were living a relatively comfortable life. Juggling a job and being a single father wasn't - and still isn't - very easy, but neither of them were as happy as either of them could be. But Jackie was beginning to feel that loneliness. And it was only made worse hearing what a couple of Sam's classmates were saying about them not having a mom.So when his best friend's wife, Stacy, brings up the idea of him coming along to her weekly group meeting, he jumps on the opportunity to meet new people. And luckily, one of those people happens to be a very eccentric person that catches his interest.
