Summary
“I do not see much of a difference between angels and devils.” Tempus Intertextus: Bloodshed at the Candlelit Manor is a murder-mystery novel following the main character, Romulus Malborough, a lobotomized mental patient from the Victorian era, who is brought by an Angel whose name is Dr. Horatius Abney, to a large manor set in the middle of a beautiful mountain range. Horatius tells Romulus that he is safe here and can finally be free from the torment of the mental asylum, but Horatius was lying, Horatius was never an Angel.
