Summary
There is a legend in the United States of a locomotive taken before his time who rides the rails offering comfort to engines at their end. Some say his presence means death, while others say he is merely a comforting presence akin to a guardian angel. Recently, he's been spotted in Great Britain where the scrapping of steam locomotives is at an all time high. Tonight however, it seems he's found a rather curious soul in need of some help: a red narrow gauge tank engine who hails from America, and who's been dealt a poor hand not dissimilar to himself. Stanley believed he'd rot away alone when the Cas-ny Hawin mine closed down in 1947, but it seems that as he prepares to meet his end, he won't be alone at all.
