Summary
Astrid and Hiccup’s honeymoon takes them from the secluded highlands of New Zealand to the tranquil beauty of Shimane, Japan. On Astrid’s family estate, surrounded by buzzing hives and misty forests, they savor quiet days filled with nature, sketches, and honey harvesting. In Shimane, they immerse themselves in the sacred practices of bee-keeping, offering paper prayers beneath cherry blossoms and learning from local masters. Their journey weaves together the peace of nature, their shared love of bees, and the deep bond they’ve forged as newlyweds.
