In an alternate universe, Bilbo Baggins is a freelance writer, splitting his time between scribbling in spiral notebooks and working at The Blueses, his neighborhood coffee shop. He expected a quiet life, but instead is confronted with magic, adventure, and mysterious new friends. To both his surprise and horror, Thorin Oakenshield finds a way back into his life, rekindling the broken feelings they once shared for one another. Moving past their shared history won’t be easy for either of them, but if they succeed, they may just end up creating a little magic of their own.
