Summary
From the kink meme: http://rotg-kink.dreamwidth.org/2200.html?thread=1922968#cmt1922968
When Jack is a very young spirit, he gets summoned by a Warlock, who traps him by carving runes into his skin, binding him to his master. In the time he is forced to serve the Warlock, Jack is put through many horrible things, though he is mostly used as a weapon against the Warlock's enemies. Still, all Jack can think of the whole time is this: If being seen means that you're hurting people, then he'd rather not be seen at all.
Somewhere along the line, Pitch gets wind of these happenings and boy does he get mad when he finds out how Jack has been trapped.
Pitch is going to have to work hard at convincing Jack, that being seen and believed in is not all bad. It could be by showing Jack how much kids love snowball fights or snow days and stuff like that.
------
On the behalf of Death herself, Pitch comes to find the man who has lived fifty years beyond his time, and has been striking up fear in himself rather than in Pitch. What he finds, however, is a cowering fool and the young frost spirit with runes scarred into his skin and eyes pleading him to end it all. Pitch is pissed, to say the least.
