Summary
They had become allies by circumstances and though Shuten didn’t wish them any ill anymore… he still wondered why he was here, and why they had helped him walk to the house at all.
Perhaps because Rekka no Ryo had insisted they help before finally losing consciousness, making them all fretful about his health.
Initially, Shuten had been planning to slip away from the Troopers’ group upon finding himself freed from Arago’s body, no-one the wiser about his survival (were Rajura, Anubisu and Naaza alive too? Surely they must. He couldn’t fathom the Troopers living while his… friends… all died…).
But Rekka no Ryo had spotted him before he could act on it, and Shuten had found himself dragged into a… a hug he still couldn’t make sense of.
Shuten reappears outside of Arago's body with the Troopers. It changes things, at least a little.
