Katniss Everdeen was the closest asexual character I could relate to as a teenager and then came the storm that was Elsa. Now, I know Katniss does love her boys, but something about her was different.Elsa, in both Frozen 1 & 2, was iconic. Her songs were love letters to herself.Then comes my beloved Mew. Seeing him was validating, I could finally see a character that felt what I did. Thank you, Mew. You give me strength - for I will embrace who I am - a demisexual.This story is close to home.
