Summary
The Force works in mysterious ways, Obi-Wan had said once, early on in Luke’s training. As Luke sits in his cell aboard the Imperial Star Destroyer Executor, he reflects that Obi-Wan was right. How Luke getting captured by Imperials can be the will of the Force, Luke doesn’t know – but he wishes that the Force could have achieved its will in some other fashion.
