the darkest battles come from within

Knighton should be thriving. The war against Monstrox is over—monsters defeated, the realm saved. But peace has left cracks the battlefield never could. The knights who once stood strong now fight quieter battles: grief that lingers, trust that falters, and the weight of a kingdom trying to move on without breaking apart.Meet Camilla Maguire, an ordinary teenager who lives a decently boring and normal life in our world...until a shimmering portal appears out of thin air and she makes the mistake, or choice, of stepping through. Thrown into her favorite childhood show post-war, she discovers the knights at the brink of falling apart, each carrying wounds they won’t let the others see.She really needs to find a way home. But what defines home? Who sent her here, of all places, and why now? Could she be the outsider they need: someone unafraid to see them for who they are, and to say what no one else will?
