“I’ve read stories,” Wuk Lamat confesses, hands flexing into fists awkwardly. “I read a lot of stories about you, actually.” It's been a figurative elephant in the room the entire day, something at the tip of her tongue begging for release.The admission does less for the regal queen, though.
