Summary
“Uh, yeah…so the crow’s back.” Chimney winces slightly. “He brought me a hotel keycard the morning after…” He arches an eyebrow at Maddie whose mouth falls open.
“Well, he brought you something this time, too.” Maddie doesn’t sound disturbed, which is something Chimney loves about her. She keeps him calm when his mind runs wild. The crow drops what’s in his beak on the sidewalk, Maddie straightening slightly when she sees what it is. “Chim.” Her hand tightens in his. “Did the crow bring us a key?” She whips her head around to look at Chimney. “Did the crow bring us a key three days after I moved some of my stuff into your apartment?!”
