Summary
They've been left to their own devices, more or less. A couple of redcoats come by every so often to check on them, deliver food and water, toss a newspaper into a cell if they're lucky. They don't bring them better food, or blankets, or creature comforts. The newspapers aren't meant to be an act of pity. They're meant to help them count the days down. It's quite kind of them. Alexander could really like them, if they weren't going to kill him.(In which the Revolution fails, and Hamilton and Laurens talk at the end of the world.)
