Summary
Before the death of the archdemon, a promise was made and a ritual performed. The circle was cast and the deed was done, solidifying the pact. However, the resulting consequences return to haunt those involved. Years later, the deal between the Witch, the future king, and the hero of Ferelden is brought sharply back into the light. After many years, the result of the dark ritual returns into the lives of those that brought it into being, a reminder of an unsavory deal and a remnant of the past.
