Tricks and Treats

It's finally Halloween. Now that Armitage, Archex, and Phasma are in eighth grade, this might be their last chance to go trick-or-treating together. So Armitage and Phasma are going to be (weird, precocious, over-achieving) very serious about the big night. But it's not just an easy trek to get some candy--the streets of Arkanis Military Base have all kinds of tricks and traps waiting for them, especially the looming spectre of other kids. Their mission? Show off their costumes to each other, have their final planning session, hit the road without any parental interference, and score as much candy as they can before porch lights go off. It's not like Brendol Hux is the kind of man who buys his son candy every week!Hopefully they can get through this night with no tears or punches. It's a small world, after all. Next year, everyone's either going to Arkanis Academy or Jakku High... and they'll have four years stuck together.The eighth-grade prequel to the First Order high school AU I've got to get around to posting.
