Summary
This was originally supposed to be the first chapter of the long sequel to Cast Me Not Away. It ended up not really fitting into that one, but I wasn't going to scrap the whole thing. Therefore, it can be viewed as a fragment, a vignette, an orphaned chapter, or whatever else you want to call it. Takes place approximately 7 months after Silver Bells.
