Summary
(This is my own personal story, not based on the story by Bryn Estelle. I actually didn't know about it until later lmao.)
Elara's been blinded her whole life... maybe? Her parents were obsessed with the myth of Medusa. They'd leave her with her old grandma, who couldn't do much for her. They grew more and more obsessed, and one day never came back. Elara uses a rock she found in her parents' notebook, they wanted her to have it. She used the rock to find Medusa's home in the forest, to find the truth about what happened to them.
Medusa has been alone ever since her curse. She couldn't look at someone, or they'd be gone. She had a collection of stoned people now. It broke her heart. She just wants a friend. But when she met Elara, her world changed. The one person she couldn't hurt.
