Summary
Phil was in trouble, and it was only partially his fault. It certainly wasn't his fault that the families around the server he was in couldn't take in a newborn so close to the winter months, but he was also extremely picky about things. He had to make the choice: contact the Fair Ones, the ones that could be trusted to take in any child brought to them but might kill him, or curl up somewhere and waste away.
…It was hardly a choice.
