Shane threw his head back, staring at the ceiling, “him.”
Before she could ask Shane what on earth he was talking about, he shifted on the bed again and continued, “Always. Ilya.”
“We were supposed to meet after the game!” he whined. “But, fucking Marlow, ugh-” he gesticulated with his uninjured hand, “aaaand now I won’t be able to play… and I won’t see him.”
Shane’s adorable pout was not nearly cute enough to distract her from… whatever was happening.
