Summary
They switch the channel to the Wii's hdmi connection, faffing around with the motion controls for a moment or so, before finally managing to load up ‘Mario Kart Wii.’
They’re hit with a sudden wave of nostalgia – a yearning for when times were more simple, and they didn’t have this much weight in their chest. They miss when they were young and bright and utterly stupid, and—
“Damn, this title screen sucks,” Susie interrupts their flurry of emotions. Kris flicks their head in her direction, their expression painted with sheer surprise. Is she serious?
“You suck,” they quip in response. She rolls her eyes and jabs her elbow into their shoulder, exerting enough force that she doesn’t hurt them, whilst still being able to knock them back to their own side of the sofa.Kris & Susie play Mario Kart!!
