Frustration

‘The Great Beyond the Gate…’ Asmodeus Alice, of course, knows of the last incident regarding that wrenched gate. Her mother, part of Delkira’s regime, had told him about the disappearance of Delkira from this gate. According to official records, Delkira was declared “missing” but the crowns at the time deep down knew… He was dead, and they were in mourning after weeks of no news of his return. After all, no one in recorded history has come back from crossing that wretched gate. [ “Thank Goodness I could see you again…!” ] Asmodeus gripped the arms of the couch, his lungs constricting, recalling what Iruma had said to him. His vision starts to blur. He almost lost him…  or Azz felt frustrated and weak, knowing what had happened to Iruma while he was knocked cold.
