Summary
In the ashes of a ruined island, Donquixote Doflamingo finds a silent child hiding among the dead.
Seraphina is small, hollow-eyed, and numb with grief—an orphan with nothing left to lose. Doflamingo takes her aboard his ship on a whim he doesn’t fully understand, claiming her as part of his family with a smile that promises both safety and something far more dangerous.
Unbeknownst to him, Seraphina is not a stranger at all.
She is his daughter—a fact his younger brother, Rosinante, knows all too well. He was the one who hid mother and child away before that truth could ever reach Doflamingo.
As the Donquixote Pirates sail on, Seraphina is slowly absorbed into life aboard the ship—bathed, fed, dressed, and watched with curious eyes by children who know too well what it means to survive under a smiling monster. Doflamingo’s interest in her deepens, unsettling even himself, while Rosinante is forced into silence, carrying the terrifying truth of who she really is—and the impossible question of how to save her from his brother’s grasp once again.
