Summary
This is mainly set in the far future of the 2009 movie continuity, or rather an alternate universe where Jason was stopped in time to save several characters. But that rampage is considered a footnote next to his future exploits after escaping from prison, which are being recreated through a true crime movie, all while the film crew remains unaware that Jason is escaping and out for blood once again (although perhaps less equipped to shed as much of it in his old age).
