Summary
Maybe he does, in another life, where they’re better at being brothers, or not even brothers at all, Hank takes his hand and asks Lee if he can stay. Maybe, if Lee was braver and stupider and a whole lot of other things, he’d ask Hank to come with him––never mind the fact that any town with a building taller than four stories isn’t the kind of place Hank would feel at home in. Instead, all Hank does is look at Lee with his lips pressed into a worried line, like maybe he’s swung around the other way and is about to beg Lee to get on that bus all the faster.
