A vampire AU post-canon story based on a tag game in which Yae turns into a vampire and rises to..., well, not lorddom exactly, but to prominence. Set in Sigil, the infamous City of Doors from the Planescape setting.* * *Oh, the relief of consuming blood was immense, but the act of feeding felt simply gross. To approach strangers, to touch them, to sink his teeth in their flesh and swallow one of their bodily fluids – it was too intimate and overwhelming and made his skin crawl. He quickly learnt instead to bleed his targets into a vessel before sustaining himself. Drinking blood still had unpleasant connotations, but he needed to remain practical.
