Summary
Written for H/C bingo, prompt "drugging".Joan and Sherlock are attacked. Their attackers overpower the two detectives enough to hold them down and force needles full of heroin into their veins. Whether it is meant as a murder attempt disguised as an overdose or a chillingly precise bit of psychological torture, neither Joan nor Sherlock know. And until they recover, they won't be in much shape to find out. Sleepy and weak on narcotic antagonists, Watson and Sherlock nevertheless manage to wake up at the same time just long enough to have a talk with each other. Watson tries to reassure Sherlock that they'll be okay, and it wasn't his fault. Sherlock isn't sure he believes her.
