Swords and Spirit

After his breakup with Mai, Fire Lord Zuko finds himself lonelier than ever. Concerned for his nephew, Iroh arranges a deal with the Earth Kingdom: if Zuko can defeat ten warriors without the use of firebending, he will earn the hand of Princess Akami in marriage.

With little experience left in swordsmanship, Zuko turns to the only person he trusts enough to help him: Sokka.

As training sessions turn into late-night conversations, moonlit walks, and a friendship neither of them expected to need so badly, both men are forced to confront the questions they've been avoiding. Zuko wonders whether a political marriage can really fix what's broken inside him, while Sokka begins to question the future he once imagined with Suki.

Meanwhile, far beyond the palace walls, a dangerous conspiracy tied to forgotten gods, ancient beliefs, an important promise, and a mysterious prisoner begins to unfold—one that may change the fate of more than just the Fire Lord.
