My one and only true love

In the year 2030, the world has shifted backward, turning its back on the LGBTQ+ community. Once safe spaces have vanished, laws have been rewritten, and acceptance is nothing more than a distant memory. In the small town of Willowridge, where conformity is survival, the walls of Everbrook High are suffocating for those who don't fit the mold. Surveillance, censorship, and whispered threats make it clear-love outside the lines is forbidden. However there is still hope out there. in the world there are still people who accept the LGBTQ+ but, it is near impossible to find such people.

Peers turned on each other, friends being torn apart when one doesn't meet the norm teachers abandoning students out of fear for being fired, families turned against their children who were different. But there were whispers of defiance that lingered in the shadows, where a spark of hope still flickers. But in a world where love is a crime, survival comes at a cost, and the question remains: Is it possible to hold on to the light when darkness surrounds you?
