A/N - Written for Session 1, Round 2 of <img/>ncis_lfws. This story won Round 2 and Mod's Choice Award. The theme for this week was Tony/Abby, pre-show. Fic to take place between the JAG starter episodes and the official NCIS pilot, Yankee White. Word count 200-1000.
Many thanks to <img/>wolfshark who read a draft of the fic I posted and was kind enough to tell me I wasn't completely insane :-) I did decide that the ending needed massaging, so I did some tweaking after the fact. But! I had serious angst over the word count -- you see, I had a whole intro section that I had to cut to keep the fic under 1000 words. Uhm...it's hard now to claim that the story needed it; however, I like it, so it's up to the reader now ;-P First cut tag is the intro that wasn't posted.
