19th Nervous Breakdown

This is a real self indulgent fic about Daryl dissociating and Paul helping him through it with a bit of help from Rick because Carol usually helps with stuff like that but she's in the Kingdom. Who knows when this takes place?? It happens in the canon universe and that's all I know. I wrote this because it's the holiday season and I've been dissociating a lot because most people are reminiscing about their childhood celebrations but all I have is a staticy void of sadness.--Daryl isn’t exactly sure how he got here, but it’s happened enough times for him to know that he probably woke up from a nightmare and just sort of lost his shit. He’s standing facing the wall and looking down at his hands, moving them around and trying to convince himself that they belong to him and he’s actually moving them.
