There are many things that four-year old Yuri Plisetsky doesn't understand.He doesn't understand why he doesn't have a father, or why his mother always looks like she's searching for something that's just out of sight even though nothing's lost. He doesn't understand why his friends' parents look at him with pity when he goes to their house to play. He doesn't understand why he always felt different than the other children, as if something he can't see and can't name held him back from being like them, from being normal.But he does understand that he was born to be on the ice.
