Summary
This is for the Day 14 prompt: “Comfort”. I am not sure if it would be considered “AU” because it almost definitely is non canon, but it -COULD- have happened. The first part is set shortly after John moves into the flat, and the second part is set sometime shortly after Sherlock comes back after 'The Fall'. Sherlock finds out something rather surprising about his new roommate. And years later, John does the same about Sherlock. They are both scarred men, finding comfort in the most unusual places- namely pain and friendship.
