Dressed in their old clothes, in their old bodies. He hadn’t realized how much his time in the Realm had changed him physically. The ‘him’ he’d come back to had been a couple inches shorter, a weedy kid who hadn’t had the time to build up any muscles from lugging twenty-plus pounds of armour and a magical shield across a seemingly-infinite stretch of hostile terrain day after day.
