Summary
Carlos receives a letter, notifying him that his research is no longer being funded, but that if he moves to New York, he can have a new assignment. The scientist can't afford to stay in Night Vale and gets frustrated when Cecil doesn't understand. Faced with the prospect of Carlos leaving, Cecil makes a decision.
Based loosely on some of the posts on the AskCecilAndCarlos tumblr. With name contributions from ace-of-blue-spades and ghostlyfemme (both tumblr).
