Slow Growing

"For Parvis, it was a simple enough tradeoff. A bit of sacrifice rewarded power, protection, speed and strength and more, a slightly bigger sacrifice let him imbue his various worldly possessions with the same." A story told in blood, as lived by it's dynamo.

Far and Away
by LunarSands
How many times can one go through respawn in quick succession? Parv isn’t doing this for science, though.

The First and Final War

aka “The Mystery of the Multiple Lalnas” This fic contains 43% asskicking, 11% magic (Ender, Blood, Flux), 11% science, 35% chaos, 400% extra Lalnas and 0% sex. Although, really, it’s an excuse for Strife and Rythian to fight, with loss and love and shadows and grief in the background. All good ingredients for a war.

your smile could light
by sparxwrites
“What if- y’know...” There’s a pause where Parvis struggles for words, heaves a sigh when he can’t quite find them, and turns his face a little further into the comforting warmth of Will’s thigh instead. “Vampires.” “Vampires?” asks Will, exhaustedly. It’s past four in the morning, the sun just beginning to rise over the horizon, and he’s sat on a bench in a park with his best friend and a stranger draped against him because they all decided it was a good idea to watch the sun rise. He’s really not drunk enough to be able to justify this to himself – to be able to justify any of this evening to himself – but here he is. Because of Parvis. Story of his damn life.

Beneath the Proud Veins
by tayttimus (to_infynneity)
"'Strife.' It’s not a question, not a greeting, but an accusation. 'Kirin. Pleasure to see you, as always,' he says, hoping to convey with a flat, toneless voice just how pleasurable it is." The Storm Sage visits Strife Solutions and outlives his welcome.

Parv liked not having a heart so much, he did it again. Spoilers for Blood and Chaos #48. Also, a few musings on the origin of William Strife.

Will Strife Contemplates
by sparxwrites
It’s three in the morning, and Will Strife can’t sleep. Parvis is a sprawl of warmth against his side, all bony limbs and sharp angles. He wriggles constantly, snorts and grunts and snores with intolerable volume as he sleeps, and seems incapable of differentiating between Will and the mattress when he frequently rearranges himself into a more comfortable position. (In which it is 3am, Will Strife contemplates his life choices, and Parvis manages to incredibly irritating even when asleep. Despite all of these things, Will thinks he just might be in love.)
