Once upon a time, there were two worlds. These two worlds were connected and bound to each other’s fate. In one world was a great nation, and during the height of this nation’s power peace ruled the land. One day, the great nation fell to a terrible calamity, and both worlds descended into chaos and strife that seemed without end. But then came a great king, and with him the rise of a new great nation to restore peace to both worlds once more.Oh shit it's another retelling, in which I work out all of my problems with the game's story, as well as some of its characters. Significant alterations to some parts of the plot, lore and backstory, as well as some characters and the roll they play to follow. Some concepts and locations from the first game are returning. More details will be revealed in the tags as the fic progresses. On hiatus because I am STUCK! T_T Body language completion status: 11/27

A collection of background and psychological sketches, additions to the reality and life of the characters of the Ni no Kuni 2 game. The main characters have many fantastic adventures; they have to overcome difficulties and to pass tests on endurance and fidelity to the right choice in the process of foundation and development of a new state - Evermore, which Aranella bequeathed to build. During this difficult journey, the characters have to survive the bitterness of losses of loved ones and new meetings. Some of the main characters are experiencing fleeting encounters, but are these intersections of fate lines random, as they seem at first glance? What unexpected surprises will the temporal and spatial paradoxes bring in the finale and what role will they play in the fate of the characters?

The child ran along the coast, but suddenly stopped. The light of the emerald died out in it, changing its color to the ominous scarlet in which the sky-clothed dressed, capturing the water surface in its veils. A huge flaming star was racing at the speed of light, swallowing everything around and leaving billowing ashes. It grew to gigantic proportions, capturing everything around. The seagulls rushed to meet the scarlet, claiming the rights of the emerald and pure tears of life, but they paid for it: the star singed their free wings, and they fell in a lump of ash into the now crimson water. And everything around has become ashes.
