Warriors - Erin Hunter
Inherited Love
by ImmortalCrayons
In the midst of a disaster that threatened to tear the Clans apart, two cats found love. Their names were Ryewhisker and Cloudberry— two unlikely lovers who sought a happy ending. But their tragic fate cost not only the life of Ryewhisker, but a change in the Clans themselves. These shameful events were kept secret by all. Dovekit is the daughter of Cloudberry, and she has an invested interest in learning the ways of the world. But as she will soon learn, she has a habit of biting off more than she can chew. Child of three Clans, she finds that history is one thing that her culture wishes to forget… Much like Sunningrocks, Dovekit and her family are destined for bloodshed and tragedy. — This is the story of Dovestar and how she goes from kit to leader, and why her proposed code failed that one fateful gathering.
