Maybe if I accidentally moved my hand in a dismissive manner while seeing one out the door, our city’s wealth could be used correctly. I knew that such a thought made me a monster, but I grew at peace with it as the days trekked on. Destroying the darkness means becoming familiar with it yourself. Then, one day, I was invited to a private meeting with such a nobleman. As the letter was delivered to me and I scanned it over, my heart began to race. Balmung lifted his head at my side as if he were trying to read it as well. He could tell— he could sense the darkness swirling within me. And he loved it.

It was simply technical problems, and thanks you for your patience and...And while those outside wondered what was going in on, and the most rebellious broke code and protocol and nature of an unnatural slant there were those within the organization who were left picking up the pieces of both disaster and rebels both.
