So Lewis Hamilton did what he had done 9 years ago. He ran. The knock at the door came as he was carrying his bag into the living room, and it startled him so much he almost dropped it, the sound echoing through the room. At first he ignored it but the rapping came again, sharper, more insistent, and curiosity got the better of him. As he approached the door, the rucksack still slung over his shoulder, he ran through a list of who it could be. He and Charles weren't especially close as teammates went, but it might not be out of the question. He couldn't remember ordering any parcels, but his life moved so fast that it was impossible to say. Maybe Sebastian had decided to drop in and surprise him for Christmas, and that thought brought a little smile to Lewis' face. A smile which was promptly wiped away when he opened the door to come face-to-face with Nico Rosberg. Or, the one where Nico shows up on Lewis' doorstep on Christmas Day trying to fix things after 9 years.
