It’s a miserable day, like most days where one has to go to work. It’s more miserable because it’s raining. It’s even more miserable because it’s not just raining- it’s raining HARD. And there’s a walk home. And now everything is wet. And-… Are those kids?Alternatively; a very tired octoling, who never had dreams of anything bigger than working at Grizzco and living alone, encounters 2 children left in the rain in Inkopolis. He didn’t know that this miserable, awful, rainy day would actually grant him the opportunity to meet two inklings who would become two of the greatest gifts the world could give him.Or; a man becomes a dad by accident when he walks home from work and finds 2 kids under an awning in the rain.
