The people in the castle ignore it - no one talks about the accident, their missing memories, anything that happened before. No one in this place would talk about it, and he hasn’t been allowed outside the castle ever since he woke up - even then, they wouldn’t tell him any news. How’s he supposed to be King but not know about anything? He knows what he has to do. He wonders, when the maid’s expression falls and they say good night, if they know too. They pause by the doorway for an extra second, watching him. “Goodbye, Shiro.” [...] “Hello?” Someone’s poking him with a stick, their voice filled with concern. “Bones, is this guy dead?”
