Carolyn paired them up on an assignment that is still being worked on. They of course didn’t get along at first because Eve thought Villanelle was another know-it-all, plus the one-night stand.A couple of years go by, and Eve and Villanelle have been partners at MI6 for a while now. On the day they got unlucky and were stormed in for a few days, they slept together again. They weren’t officially together, but it’s more of a sexual benefit, it worked for them. It wasn’t a secret that Villanelle was attracted to Eve, the flirting wasn’t subtle. That one night they got drunk and accidentally slept together, it opened things up.Casually having sex isn’t what Villanelle wants, she needed more but is terrified of opening up. There has to be something she can do about this, but with a dealbreaker, it makes it hard for this to be real. Eve is starting to notice Villanelle pull away from her, and it’s making this arrangement hard.
