So it's long overdue. Cable appears like some amazing bodysliding messiah to whisk K and Kate into an alternate timeline where darkness and bad things rule - and one of those bad things is named ... K. The girls will work hard with whatever allies they can sweet talk to save this reality's Wolverine and set things right in a world overrun by sentinels.
