Michael had a difficult upbringing full of abuse, neglect and manipulation. Eventually they make a decision for themself. This decision changes their life forever. For better or worse? No one really knows, but Mike wants to believe it changed for the better.Follow Mike on his quest to seek peace and maybe a tad bit of revenge on the person who caused all his suffering.Additional warnings will be added in the notes of each chapter. Mike is 12 at the beginning of the story and 18 when it ends. Just so you know what you're in for: this story contains graphic violence, death, underage sex (nothing graphic but just a mention of it being done for money reasons), Abuse, feelings of hopelessness and suicide attempts, self harm and more. It is a semi-realistic story on the reality of some people's lives. It is not for the faint of heart. You have been warned in advance.Of course it's not all angst. There will be healing and love as well. But it does get very dark, so please proceed with caution.
