"Timon, how old is Simba?" Pumbaa asked, sitting up in his seat and looking over at him." 'bout 25. Why ya' askin?" Timon replied, not bothering to make eye contact, all too busy with watching a news update. Hoping that it’ll storm so that he can get out of work."Wow, to think we've been together for 25 years!""Pumbaa, it has not been 25 years. We've known each other longer than that, besides, we've only had Junior for 17 years. We picked him up when he was 8."

Don't underestimate the emotional pain of two adoptive dads
by TFALokiwriter
If it weren't Simba who beat him it would be someone who did it for him, by someone who loved him so much that a world without him was enough to make tears come uncontrollably out at the thought of him being gone. It takes a jungle to raise a lion. And it takes a lion to draw the jungle out to fight dirty in the wild.
