The angel stared down at Amara, who stood with her arms tightly crossed behind Saphir. She held herself casually, keeping her face collected and her presence cool. Something deep inside of her, perhaps some fundamental piece residing in the pit of her stomach, shivered. Amara forced the shiver to die there."What is she doing here?" The angel moved its gaze to Saphir as if Amara was not there at all. Saphir held the angel's burning gaze. She did not flinch, did not break for an instant in her calm demeanor."Amara is my guest." It was said lightly, as if Amara was joining Saphir at a soiree and not following her into Celestia itself. One could almost take the answer as casual, but there was a glint in Saphir's eye that dared the other celestial to challenge her. One hand twitched defensively in front of Amara, as if that alone could shield her. The other clenched into a tight fist at her side. Despite the warm tone, the message was understood by all three present."She is under my protection."In which Amara cannot go home, and Saphir puts her under protection for the good of the universe. It has nothing to do with how surprisingly soft Amara's hands are. Saphir is certain of it.
