Acantha is a young woman of eighteen when she is married off to Caius Martius Coriolanus--a man known as a consul, a general, a soldier, and a man with a terrible temper, who has seen more battles than nearly any other man in the Roman Empire. And won each one. Acantha must now face her duties as a wife, woman of the household, and mother to Coriolanus' two young sons from his late first wife. But while Acantha comes to care for the children dearly, her husband remains a stone wall, incapable of emotion or care for either Acantha or his sons. Can Acantha overcome what has been placed before her, or is Coriolanus a man who cannot be helped?(Based off of Tom's Hiddleston's Coriolanus.)
